Hey all I bought one of those 10.1" android radios for the card and I have a question.

I have a 2011 Nitro Heat 4.0 with amp.

The harness i used is the PAC C2R-CHY4:

The antenna i used is:

The Android head unit wires:

And now the FM radio has terrible reception! It can not even find a station when scanning!

Is there something i am missing hooking up?

I'm not a HU specialist. That being said, others here have had the same problem.
This is because the Nitro uses an antenna booster. OEM wire harness 22 way(Grey) plug. Pin 7 is AMPLIFIED ANTENNA FEED, GY/OR wire.
Can't remember exactly what wire is was, but I think it needs to be connected to blue/white or blue wire on the PAC or HU harness.

You can call PAC for support...

PAC was no support at all. Does the Grey wire need to be provided 12v in order for it to be boosted?

I can't really wrap my head around what its saying i need to do if i have an amp:

CONNECT THE FRONT OUTPUTS FROM THE AFTERMARKET RADIO TO THE REAR INPUTS OF THE 22 PIN RADIO CONNECTOR. White out to Green in, White/Black out to Green/Black in, Grey out to Purple in, Grey/Black out to Purple/Black in

Well i talked to PAC again and they confirmed that a 2011 model is not covered by the C2R-CHY4 wire harness and said they changed from the last wire harness they made which was the 2010.

Just in case someone here has the PAC and got it installed please do comment.

These are the official wire colors for both PAC and the Android head unit.
