I've been thinking about protecting the 'orange', and was wondering about getting the 3M film applied to hood, bumper, and front wheel wells. Also, for anyone who has applied the product, would you also recommend doint the rear wells as well? I don't have the mud guards yet, but thinking that would be a great idea too. An owner for a month, and lovin' it ...

i have front mud flaps and also have the 3M protectant on the front of the rear wheel flairs and believe me the protectant definately have saved the paint.

the mud flaps do not stop all the crap from getting thrown up onto the front of the rear wheel flairs.

i am so glad i have the 3M protectant on there

obviously anywhere you apply the stuff it'll help. I know on my Liberty I did infront of the rear wheels and it worked great. Jeep paid to have them repainted because only after 5k miles they looked horrid. Then right when I got it back I put the protectant on. 60k miles later you could tell the 3m stuff really took a beating but the paint looked good.
