And I am more than satisfied with the results...
I first sanded down all 4 rims to basically metal with a power disk sander. I then cleaned all the rims and applied about 3 coats of Krylon plastic fusion spray paint followed by 2 coats of a clear coat varnish to seal them. After The rims I had some paint left and decided to go ahead and paint my exhaust tips as well..

i think the flat black is ok, would be better if it shined alittle, cause then mayb they wouldnt look like they were painted, what did u use? did u do a stress an weather test to see what the chip and fade rate would be?

ottawanitro - no problems at all with sanding it actually was not as hard as I planned it to be.
jeffrey - yes sir everything is painted with way too many coats ha. i actually messed up at one point and sanded one of the rims back down to the metal and it was a pain to get the paint off
dayley - i respect your opinion but i honestly am going for the more dull flat black look. if i shined them up i personally think they would look more cheap. to each his/her own.
