hope fully someone can give me an idea of what exactly is going on with my nitro. I have had the mysterious vibrating trans like so many others and I have given up on that. the other day a esp/bas light came on so I called the dealer took it in. they replaced the dynamic position sensor( i think, its been a long day so I could be wrong) any way drove the nitro the last couple of days no new issues. Go to start my car this evening, wont turn over plenty of juice in the battery, no radio, all lights car wont lock and the odometer reads no bus. any suggestions? I am at a loss and am sick of going to the dealer constantley only to get a partially fixed car back.
Thanks

The "No Bus" means the dash unit can not communicate with the other computers in the vehicle. Could be a loose connector under the dash or hood.

That sounds like a problem I had once. Static can knock out the Wireless Control Module. Had mine replaced and all is well.

Just heard from the dealer after having it towed in, static fried the wireless control module:confused:. Found a tsb for it in the tsb section. I used to love my nitro but now, I just don't know. I have driven many, many cars from cheap to expensive, old and new. Never have I had so many issues with a car. The dealer's have been great but dealing with Chrysler LLC is the biggest pain of it all:3-angry1:. Rumor has it that they are trying to change the customer service experience for the better but I cant believe it until it happens.
Sorry for the rant, I am just beyond frustrated.:shakehead: I have owned my Nitro for One year august 29, and It has been in an average of twice a month for issues with the trans and or the electrical systems.

Hey, no worries ...... you may be "beyond frustrated" but you're keeping a good attitude about it.

I sure hope you can get the problems addressed. Gotta admit that there are far too many "issues" with the Nitro, and not simply because it's a "new model" I've had a few minor issues with mine, but the only "pain in the ***" problem I'm dealing with is the silly 4-speed transmission (and associated system) that is NOT Ready For Prime Time.

Sadly, the Nitro seems to be an example of How Not To Design A Vehicle If You Want Happy Customers.

But it sure looks neat rolling down the road ... and mine is a blast to drive (if I avoid 25-35mph and 40-55mph).
