Hi there....I have a MyGig on order and I noticed a couple of you already have them. Could you please answer one question for me.
Can you input new information such as POI MANUALLY WHILE you are driving?
Meaning...not using the voice command but using the touch screen.

I am actually from the Jeep JK forum and have a JK on order with MyGig. The Wranglers will not have voice command in them due to folding windshield. Someone posted that you could not find POI's unless you use the voice command. That you would have to stop the vehicle in order for it to allow you to find them via the touch screen. Needless to say I did not want to pull my Jeep over and stop to find a destination nearby. Your info has been very helpful.
No one with the Jeep Wranglers have received orders yet with the MyGig so I am greatful to have you Nitro folks to help enlighten us. Thanks again.

Hi again Bob. My question for your contact is this: I have also been waiting since Nov. '06 for the MyGig option on my RT HOWEVER...I also have "Full-time 4x4" ordered. Soo...could this be yet another factor why some of us are still in "BG"? I could definitely live with the Part-Time 4x4 if that is the hold up!i have not heard a thing from him............i will check with him and see if he has any news
Lindy, I am slowly comming around to your way of thinking. If your dealer really did put Full-time 4WD on your order, then that could be part of the problem. It will not be available for the 2007 model year. I really doubt he ordered FT 4WD though because it wasn't on the order computer for him to check.Hi again Bob. My Dealer does not know anything about my hold up for a build. I am seriously thinking of cancelling the order and wait for the '08's. Chaio!

The suspense of not knowing is wearing all of us thin, and that in itself not good. Then you have to factor in the increasing number of problems associated with this model year.
Maybe giving them 6 more months to work out the remaining bugs is worth the wait for the '08. I don't know, but giving myself a drop dead date of April 15 is the best way I know to alleviate my anxiety.

It is not available as an add-on from Mopar parts at this time. This is what they are trying to tell you. There are other threads about this. Use search and look for MyGIG.Does anyone know the part number for the MyGIG? every dealer I have talked to has no idea how to even find a MYGIG stereo. They all tell me it is not available for the Nitro, but that is obviously not true!
