Latch and Actuator Assembly issue
Front Driver Right Door Lock Actuator problem.

Still no clear thread how to change or repair actuator

Thanks ALL and especially Scar, all your knowledge is greatly appreciated.

Regards WASEEM
If the actuator is broken, you will need to replace it.
However, the Euro actuators are not the same as the US versions. The Euro version has a double lock feature.
More info here. https://www.nitroforumz.com/threads/drivers-door-not-opening.32976/
If you can not get the door open, you have a lot of work ahead of you. The actuator has 3 screws on the shut face of the door. Door closed there is no easy access.

Hey I’m having a issue when I unlock my car the indicators go off and the go off again and the windows go down.... can anyone help?
Windows opening sounds like the Express Down Window Feature.
Wish my Nitro had it!!!
It allows you to remotely open both front door windows at the same time.
To use this feature, press and release the unlock button on the key fob, then immediately press and hold the unlock button.
The windows will lower till you release the unlock button, or lower completely if you hold it.
The windows opening is normal in this case.
If you are not holding the unlock button on the fob, it may be getting stuck.

The parking lights will flash to let you know the unlock signal was received.
Again, normal.

Maxxe-maxx you could try a Vehicle computer reset: disconnect your NEGATIVE battery cable for 10 minutes then reconnect.

Thanks for your help, I've tried all the above suggestions.
Button goes up and down when using the the key fob as do all the others.
Same when I use the driver controles.
Started taking the door panel off, not easy when door closed but managed it.
Problem now is removing the inner panel because the window guider is fixed some how to the rear of the panel from the inside!!?? Any other ideas anyone??
to remove the panel you must pop out the black cap on the panel and align the window base bracket with the hole the bracket is plastic white insert a medium size phillips in the hole and press hard it will disconnect the window from the base
while pressing in the hole have someone else slide the window to it's closed position and tape it there with duct tape now you can remove the panel after disconnecting a few door rods

Did anybody solve this problem? I have just purchased a Nitro last week for my wife and central locking is only working for the driver door (Australian market model) RIght hand drive. I have been reading all night on this forum and when I find the exact same problem there is no answer! Can anybody help? The wife loves this car but she can't get the pram out for my boy, it's locked in the boot that won't open
plenty of data on this issue in tipm article there are 2 dpdt relays that are welded on the tipm circuit board no replaceable parts there unless you are a qualified electronic technician 1 of the relays for the driver door the other controls the 3 other doors the atch lock and the other contact on the same relay the rear window wiper motor
the easiest solution is to buy a second hand tipm and get it flashed to your vehicule vin there is more than one relay here is the layout

@Nitrogen What I posted in post 43 about the windows was was an outtake from the owners manual.
Not all Nitro have this feature...

To be honest I don’t think it is that. I just came out to go to work and my windows have gone down over night.
This is not what you said in your previous post.
We need to know for sure which it is.

So I came across this problem not too long ago. When I lock the car, all locks go down and lock and car honks just like it should. However, whenever I push the key fob to unlock, only the driver side door unlocks and the remaining 3 passenger doors and rear hatch stay locked, refusing to unlock no matter how many times I push the fob. This also happens when I sit in the Nitro and try unlocking it by pushing the unlock switch on the door panel.

When it first happened, it was only for the afternoon and before I could take a look at it the next day, it had gone back to functional. Seemed like a electrical hiccup. However, this time, it has happened again and has been 2 days since it happened.

Has anyone ever had this problem?! It's a 2007 Dodge Nitro with 90k miles.

ALSO - I have tried pulling relays and checked all fuses and all of the relays are fine and so are the fuses. I tried resetting the electrical system by disconnecting the battery and connecting it several minutes later. Everything else works just fine, windows, radio, wipers, etc.

It's just the power door locks.....

Hi,
you have 2 options:
1. open the TIPM, change the relay EX2- "U1J" inside it
2. Plug under TIPM (Brown) C5: connector pin 18 beige / orange LR door unlock, connector pin 5 beige / brown RF door unlock, connector pin 7 beige / L blue RR door unlock, connector 17 L green / L blue tailgate unlock . Cut these wires, connect them - ends towards the cabin and install an external relay. Relay control you take ( + driver unlocing signal ) Plug C6 under TIPM (Gray) connector pin 3 beige / L green.
Good Lack
