Should the power windows in the front go all the way up automatically once you hit the button.... or should you have to hold the button the whole time the window is going up??? Mine just goes up once you tap the button - I would think that this is not safe...

Thank you!!

that's how they work. I think it's like a garage door, in that it stops if it hits anything.

Welcome to the forum.

There is a thread somewhere on window operation. I think this "express up" feature is programable.

Try searching the Forum for "windows" or "power windows" and I think you will find it.

On mine the driver and passenger windows only go all the way up or down if you pull or push the switch until its completley depressed and then let go. Otherwise wih light pressure its normal. Also they are anti-pinch as is the sunroof is you have one.

Another cool thing i'll note on these window switches is the way they are designed, you can depress both window switches at the same time. Like in the back at the same rate, so if you want to equally crack them (im like this, gotta be equal) then its simple to do.

programmable auto-up on driver's window

Yes, I believe the auto-up/down feature is programmable.

Check your manual.
