Im hoping somebody can explain what it actually is that is in my truck. I know it sounds like an idiotic question but here it is. I have a 2011 DN Heat 3.7....now i know it has a radiator. in front of that radiator is a condenser? Is that correct...then, wait theres more....in front of that theres a small single looking cooling apparatus that looks like a single tube/fin radiator?....but i was told its a transmission cooler? Is that right?

I went to look for it online and what ive found for a transmission cooler doesnt fit the size that i have..mine is 15 1/2" long x5" tall by something like an inch or two deep....but it has just has one u shaped pipe coming out and going in. The replacements I have found all have two...is it ok to get something larger than what i have? if you were to go by picture only it looks like a power steering cooler...but i dont thats right.

I hope this makes sense...I need to replace all three units and soon. I live in Palm Springs and its been 112 degrees and I have no A/C.....(my compressor is fine btw, and i tried recharging it but it came out one of the lines like a jet engine....so I need to replace all the units, i know for a fact that theres a hole in one of these things i just dont know what all they are)...I just want to know what they all are.

    thanks so much guys.

Only dumb question here is one that does not get asked...
Starting from the rear. #1 Radiator, in front of that is the #2 trany cooler and #3 condenser (Trany cooler is top 1/3, condenser is the bottom 2/3), In front of that (the small one) is the #4 power steering cooler.

With and A/C issue, you should only have to replace the condenser and separator attached to the side.
The radiator and P/S cooler (unless damaged) should be fine.
You may have trouble finding just the condenser, so you may have to get the trany cooler/condenser as a unit.

After a long drive towing, stopped to tank up .
Re started and engine error indicator came on.
Think it was p0480. Second cooling fan failed to start. I cleared the code and after some 1200 km of towing in hot weather up some good grades it has not returned.
Hope it stays that way. Although in reading around the fix could be the relay.
