Do any of you use that "thingy" and if so what do you put in there??

well, when my kids or myself go to the dr and get a prescription, I put it there so I don't forget to drop it off at the pharmacy, my hubby always puts gas in the nitro for me on sunday's, but he really just uses that as an reason to drive it....lol, he puts the receipt there to make sure I get it. other than that it really is useless, they could have made it a sunglass holder.

Just one of the many sweet features of the Nitro. I agree, a sunglass holder would have been a better use of the space.

Tip: CD's don't stay up there very well.

I would imagine that someone who travels toll roads a lot would like a feature like that. It seems a good spot to stick the Turnpike ticket so that you know where it is.

my insurance and registration so it's handy when the po-po pull me over!!!

well I use it to store my toll tickets on long drives, I use to lose them alot, so i find it very useful

I use it for my parking pass at work until I get parked or for mail that I need to drop off. Whatever I put in there stays there when the sun roof is open, too!

Good point.

One day I was in a rented car on the PA tpk. I looked all around for a place to put my toll ticket and count not find one.

So I slid it into the CD slot of the radio. This seemed like a good idea until the radio sucked in my ticket thinking it was a CD.

To those of you who ride the PA Pike, you know a lost ticket means --- full price for a ride across the state.

That happened to me on the NJ Turnpike once (I was only going 2 exits too!)
It was a costly mistake. PA Pike is like $28.00 for a full fare, isn't it?
