I'm not a huge fan of red, but I like it too. It would definitely be different. I noticed on Amazon, that they also have a set of two replacement keys for about $30. But you would have to have the keys cut and programmed to your vehicle. A dealer has to program them, if I'm not mistaken.

I know that Chrysler did have the "factory remote start" as an order option. The key had an additional button on the remote for it.

Eventually, I plan to add a remote start to my Nitro, also. This is probably the one I will get:

Actually, I never added remote start to my Nitro. However, I know several people who have added this same unit (mentioned in previous post) with great success. On other Nitro, Ram, and Jeep vehicles. One friend even put one in his Dodge Caravan with no issues.

Unfortunately, I no longer own my Nitro. I now have a 2017 Willy's Wrangler in its place. Don't take me wrong. I loved my Nitro, and it was one of the better vehicles I've owned. It was getting up there in miles and I felt it was time for a change.
