not all R/T's are 4.0l as far as we know, apparently in the last years of production dodge used whatever engines where in stock, late 2010 R/T badge was dropped,
they even badged the 2.8 crd SXT with R/T, only difference was the interior trim
lifter tick is very common on the 3.7l, in 2007 some of the first posts on this forum where Nitro owners having concerns about the noise, but Dodge just said it was normal of this engine,
maybe you will find out what the cause is,
