Hey there! Name's Crystalmare or LilSparkPlug, whatever works! I just joined up here to learn a bit more about the Nitros and the parts available for them. I don't own one, I have an SRT-4, but my father has an 07 Black R/T which he absolutely loves. Heck I love it too!! And XMAS is coming....Dad could use some toys for the truck!

Unfortunately RI drivers have a tough time seeing the pink...they merge at me all the time....confusing I know!

I'm not sure if hes a member or not, I know he belongs to a couple of Dodge Forums that have Nitro stuff on them. But I'll keep all of my inquiries about parts a secret for now, otherwise he'll find out! Haha!!

His truck has everything from the factory except the MYGIG, he ordered the first R/T available and it didnt have that as an option yet. My mom and I got him:
- Ventshades
- Mud Flaps
- Privacy Cover
- Door Edge Entry Guards
- BugFlector
All from Dodge. But he needs more....Im not one for leaving vehicles alone as you can tell from mine (modeled after a Panther Pink 1970 AAR Cuda).

Welcome to the forum. I have many friends in your area.

Go out and buy your Dad a polished K&N cold-air intake.

It looks good and will make a difference he can feel and hear.

From the looks of your SRT, you have the skills to install if for your dad.

I wish I had a kid like you. My daughter hates anything but Toyotas.

I was going to give her the Nitro in 4 years free and clear, but she does not want it--- go figure.

Thanks guys and gals for all the welcomes. I've gathered quite a bit here already! Theres a few parts that are on here I know he'll enjoy, and before I joined here I didn't know they made them! I was going to fab them up myself.

ElectricBlue: are you sure about that one? I think here in the northeast we're all pretty much the bottom of the barrel according to that big survey an insurance company did. :smiledown:

BlueJet: Agreed on the Raiders!! I think the fans are even more extreme...

Ken: Yes you could say that again, all of the paint and bodywork, mechanical work etc. on my car was done by me. I have a degree in Autobody/Mechanics from a University here in RI.

Funny story about that. I have a 20 y/o brother, you would think he would be the mechanical one....not quite. New Years 06, one of those ice sculptures people drink alcohol from (no idea what its called I dont drink) fell out of the bed of an F-150 and into the Radiator of my Dad's Durango. I went to the dealer ordered the parts, picked them up a couple days later and helped him install them.

He said "Damn....21 years ago I never would have thought I'd be asking my daughter to help me install a Radiator in my truck." :smileup:

By the way, have you guys talked to anyone at a Billet company yet? There is a company out there that makes alot of billet and anodized colored knobs for quite a few Chrysler vehicles, the ones on the LX platforms, Jeeps, Rams, and even the SRT, I havent seen anything like this for the Nitro yet and I think it would be a nice addition to the interior. Although I'm sure some of the radios are the same and those knobs would be interchangeable. Anyone try this yet?
