okay so drop off the nitro at 7:30am apt. with list of
1. oil change
2. roof rattle/vibration that is about to drive me INSANE
3. a/c STILL not blowing cold
4. freakin radio plays all day to keep itself company
5. trans hesitation
I call them at 4:30 pm; they are just now looking at the transmission. so I tell her politely that I need to leave, still have 45 minutes to just get to my home and then have my children to church which is 15 minutes past my home. So she tells me there is a flash on the trans to bring it back.
now to address my issues service dept style:
1. oil change-NOT done-couldn’t get to it
2. roof rattle/vibration – removed and repaired, replaced roof racks (I drive it not even a block guess what? THE ROOF STILL RATTLES)
3. a/c STILL not blowing cold- oh you guys are gonna LOVE this one
“well back in the shop it is blowin’ at 35 degrees” me: “how is that possible when it blows hot and cold ALL day EVERYDAY since the last time I was here?” cow: "well do you have the recirculation on?” me: “no-I don’t need it on full power all the time” cow: “well for the a/c to work properly you have to have both buttons pushed in and have the fan on high” me: huh?!? that is not how all my other cars have worked, a/c has 2 levels normal, low to high and max, low to high” cow: "well w/ the Chrysler units they don’t work that way.” Me:WTF!!!
4. freakin radio plays all day to keep itself company- not able to duplicate, even after I mentioned it needed the TIPM
5. trans hesitation-not enough time to check that, we drove it, but we need to do a flash on it.
So I leave and notice the rattle, then like a slap in the face I realize they had my nitro 9 hours and all they did was play w/ the radio and use up my gas! I call and talk to the manager, I told them they had my vehicle all day and didn’t do a damn thing (I was using my sweet girl voice cause I wanted to catch flies….blahblah-bs) when he informed me that was just not true, it sounds like you had several issues that take 4 or 5 different ppl to have time to do those things we need all day and you needed to make an apt.
Meangirl voice “you DID have it ALL DAY! let me just tell you this, I was made to feel like I was a burden b4 bringing it in for each problem so I made list and at the top of the list was an oil change” cow’s manager “well you know you are running it too hard between oil changes you have nearly 10,000 miles on it…that is just too long” meanie: “I scheduled my apt 10 days ago and I put 70 or so miles on my car a day and my oil change was not even addressed. And I DID make an apt to drop off at 7:30am” cow’s manager: “well the apt is only for the drop off, not a guarantee that your vehicle issues will be addressed” meangirl “what kind of BS are trying to feed me? This is the biggest pile of horse**** I think I have ever heard and I want to talk to YOUR supervisor” cow’s manager became VERY nice and apologized and told me to bring it on Monday and he would personally take care of all my issues.
My solution will be to bring it back to the dealership I bought it from in the small town and receive personalize small town attention. So if you guys know anyone at Mike Smith Dodge in Beaumont Texas….tell them not to go to work next week cause things may go BOOM!!....lol, jk, thanks for letting me rant and if anyone has an idea about the a/c bs story please let me know!!
