My nitro was 7 days old an the trans blow a seal. I had it towed to Sherman Dodge Skokie Il (place of purchase) it took 2 days to find the problem. They told me just get a rent a car till its fixed but your only covered for 5 days 2 of them sat and sun. I get the car back its dirty an no gas. When I purchased the car it had no gas they gave me gas card for $7 and told me to get on my way home. This I feel is not cust service. This is you signed you loose.

Customer service is one of the main problems with the domestic auto industry in my opinion. My family always had US auto products in the 70's and 80's till we discovered that foreign makes were more reliable and the overall customer experience at the DEALERSHIP was far,far superior!!! When a car under warrenty is in for any issue a loaner or rental should be a no brainer! Take care of your customer, come on!
Nowadays we are a DCX household and only buy DCX products. Let me tell you it is a night and day difference between when we take in our domestic (currently a Durango) verses when we take in our Mercedes.
When are Ford,GM,&Chrysler dealers going to get with the program!!! :i_rolleyes:
my local ford dealer was great....

I owned a 2003 ford focus zts and it had some problems with the windshield sealing....they handled me quick and were done within 2 days. The intake valve was stuck, they picked it up from my moms and had it back to me the next day. I also had a problem with my aftermarket tailamps (dealer installed). The dealer in Denver shipped the new ones to Florida with no charges or send backs...(I sold the old ones on ebay). Overall I saw no diff's with Toyota (i own a 2005 scion xb) or Ford customer service wise.....good experience both ways. The biggest problems with the Japanese dealers is that they sell cars like they are doing you a favor...very snooty. American dealers are more down to earth and personable.

Ditto! I love the Nitro and my dealer isn't bad (not above and beyond but not bad)... but Dodge customer service especially the 1-800 and online people... TERRIBLE!!!
