Unless you are interested in the black metallic that will be offered with the 2008 Nitro, there is no significant reason to wait. If you wait until the 2008 Nitros begin to ship in order to get a buy on a 2007, you might find that supplies of 2007 Nitros do not support that concept, and the potential for finding a 2007 in the color you prefer and with the equipment you want may be slight.

VEGASRT would make an excellent personalized plate, if it is available!

'08s - expected

From speaking to a dealership here (Western Canada), they don't expect production to start until August with delivery to start in September.

I am actually looking at buying an R/T Nitro.

I was hoping to get some feedback on the R/T from those who have stick vs auto.

Stick shift in the R/T...... I wish, but the 5 speed auto is okay

I don't think you can get an R/T with a manual transmission, but the 5 speed automatic allows you to up-shift and down-shift by moving the shift lever right or left while in "D" drive.

The R/T is a wonderful vehicle and I have not had so much fun in any car or truck since I was 20 and bought a brand new Mazda rotary engine pick-up with racing stripes and outrageously wide tires and wheels.

Find a 2007 model you like with the options you want and make a deal now. Waiting for the 2008 models will just cost you a little extra money as the dealer will be less flexible as he/she is now trying to get rid of the last 2007's.

so we got a 07 inferno red R/T from Integrity. so far pretty happy with it. like i said it has been a long time since i have driven something withOUT a turbo for any length of time but the 4.0 is a decent motor.

we basically got the vehicle because we are planning on having a few kids in the next few years and love the room in the back seats. i also definitely like the gas mileage estimates compared to most other vehicles we looked at. i will get some pics up later:beerchug:

I know what you mean about missing the turbo. I always said that I owuld have at least one turbo charged car in my stable but this morning I drove my SRT4 for the last time.

I am gonna miss not being able to surprise all the BMWs, AUDIs and Porsches with my little Neon on the autobahn.
