Stant's Nascar style cap is on sale in Canada at Ukranian Tire (I know that name is not politically correct but I don't f'n care :wavey:) for $11.99

The one that fit my Nitro is the 41004

It's not listed as a fit on Stant's site but it does fit the Durango, Ram and Liberty so I figured it was a good bet to fit ;)

I just put it on and it fits fine. Haven't tried it out at the filling station though yet -- but I'm thinking it'll work fine.

It's not my gas cap that I'm worried about, they need to make something that you don't have touch the nasty nozzles. It's a start though.

Yeh, it's called full serve...:chuckle:...but seriously though the #1 method of transmitting germs is via hand to hand transfer. Good point you have.

Thats a good one catalyst! :chuckle: What I hate here is when somebody spills gas in the winter on slush, its cold you cant smell it and you get in your vehicle after filling up and the heaters on and you get that gas smell that you dragged in on your shoes :nunu:

BTW the reason I bought one of these is because Dodge wasn't smart enough to put a clip or holder on the gas door for the gas cap and I hate just letting it hang on the tether and scratch the paint

there is a "clip" or something to hook the gas cap on, but I didn't like it, the gas cap actually got in the way of the rubber ring thingie around the gas pump nozzle. I've since replaced the OEM gas door with a chrome one and a locking gas cap. I take it off and carefully place it against the paint, it shouldn't scratch that way.
