Anyone know what the stock diameter in/out is for the nitro? I am thinking about just purchasing a muffler for right now and put that up in place and then later re do the whole exhaust.

What Type Of Muffler You Looking For?

Im interested in doing the same thing....no cat back, but just a good muffler. I think 2.5" pipe can move plenty of air, as long as there is little restriction in flow.....I.E. a big-A#$ muffler under the nitro. Ive been looking into a flowmaster suv50 series. They have no glass or other packing in their mufflers, just steel baffles that allow an engine to breathe.

I plan on using the same out-pipe and keeping the resonator, I just need to figure out a retro-fit for the shorter length muffler.

Hey guys, I had a single-in dual-out 40 series Flowmaster installed today with dual 2" pipes out the back. It turned out great. I'll be posting photos later today if it ever stops raining so I can get some of the grime off my ride. I'll even lift it a bit and snap some underneath and show you the crossover the shop installed. I have the 4.0L, but nothing says you can't do the same thing with the 3.7L.

Wow, how did they get around the spare tire?

Who did the work? were the pipes mandrel-bent?

How is the seat of the pants feel?

One more thing, do you have the full-size spare or the compact?
