Yesterday hubby replaced the shocks and struts. The shocks took him maybe 20 minutes. The struts took him a wee bit longer LOL!

I uploaded a bunch of photos to the gallery - http://www.nitroforumz.com/PHOTOPOST/showgallery.php/cat/678 .

Hubby even used a blue towel to protect my BetterBlue.

If anyone has questions, hubby could do a write up on changing the struts out.

I haven't look thru the pics yet, but any info and or spec's on what brand he installed?

(Oh, and based on the back of his T-Shirt, I'm guessing he does "Concrete" ---Davis Colors :))

Just looked at the Great Photo Journal of the install. They look to be Bistein (but I may be wrong). How's it feel now?

Sorry was in a hurry to post the photos this morning.

Yes we put on the HD Bilsteins (
BE5-D917-H0 & BE5-D916-H0). We got them from allshocks.com and they were on sale for all four for $315 shipped.

I drove it yesterday after he did the rears (shocks - for those with a gutter mind!) and it felt better even with just those. He drove it this morning with all four done and said that it felt better - definitely!

Took a road trip a month ago with my girly friends - four women and all our stuff and it felt mushy when we hit bumps/waves. We are going on a family driving trip in just a couple of weeks so wanted to have them done before we loaded it up again. That will be the telling ride.

On one of the struts the collar would not fit over the sticker so he had to remove it - the other fit fine. So one is naked!

2008 R/T 4x4 Owners............

I talked to Dave at: http://www.allskocks.com and verified that the product numbers listed at their website for 2008 (2WD) is also for the 2008 4x4's. Installation procedure is said to be identical. I think this is a great choice in coil over strut replacement.

Just FYI.
