Automotive tire Hat Helmet Grey Headgear

hello all, I’d like some knowledge here. On the upper sway bar link a bolt is supposed to go in this hole and on the other side is supposed to be a nut like this one

Unfortunately the nut doesn’t fit the only holes on the frame

How would I get this nut where it is supposed to go if there is no way it can get in there? Do I need to get a aftermarket nut and washer?

I don't remember exactly how my rear passenger upper end link bolt looked, but I remember it just threading right up into the "frame". It was a major pain to remove, as the "frame" was open to the elements, and the bolt was rusted pretty badly. I had to remove the whole bolt, the whole way, with a breaker bar, spraying it with PB Blaster after ever couple turns. The driver's side wasn't bad at all, because where it threads into the "frame", is closed off from the elements, and the bolt wasn't really rusted.

It's rear sway bar. My 2007 Nitro does not have separate nut, it's welded to the schassis.
Mine wasn’t welded in, was being held there with some rust. I had broken the bolt that goes in, so me and a co worker was hammering a nut onto it to weld and it just went through into the frame. I’ve inspected the spot where it sits and no indication of welds.

Mine was the same way, drivers was easy to remove but passenger actually snapped with no indication.
