SXT Trim Package

They used to offer the "SXT appearance package" but they no longer offer this as of sometime in April when I ordered mine.
I have mixed feelings about which fenders are best. I ordered a black 6speed SXT and the fenders blend in rather well. They are a bit more scratch resistant than the painted ones, but the painted ones ad a nice shine to the front look.
In the end there was no way that I would give up the manual for an automatic just for the paint.

The SXT Appearance Group will be available again on the 2008 models. Don't have any clue why it is not available now.
Maybe they ran short of painted fender parts for 2007 or want to use up the gray ones?

Or maybe they will try to use it as a sales gimick?
My dealer told me that it was no longer available when I entered my order on 4-14-07. he has no reason to lie as he would have made more money if I had purchased the option.
Apparently Chrysler changes the availablity of some option packages thoughout the year.

That it probably true. My salesman told me that I was ordering in the middle of a "build-out" which means that they are doing one last run of the '07's I am sure that they to avoid excess inventory of '07 parts and perhaps the SXT fenders are slightly different in '08.

Yeah it's pretty much BS. They began to offer it around January and then for some reason stopped.
