    Just a curious question...
Do Jeep Liberty KK tail lamps fit a Dodge Nitro??
The Dodge Nitro's overseas tail lamps look very similar to Jeep Libert KK tail lamps, that's why i ask.

There is a post nitro rear taillight wiring diagram. I used that to make my Leds to work. You will need resistor got turn signals. Nitro has 2 differently wired bulbs. Works ok with filament bulbs but needs 2 different types.

I have the LED tail lights made by Eagle Eye. Im not installing LED bulbs. I have LED reverse bulbs installed and i've had no problems with them since i installed them when i first purchased my Nitro over 2.5yrs ago and thats with no resistors.
But what i was going to try doing was blacking out the chrome on the inside so it gives it a smoked look. Since i had to remove the smoke off of them in order to pass inspection because it " affects the light output" or whatever (they're LEDs and are really dang bright and can be seen through the light coating of smoke lens).

These are the LED tail lights i have.
When i had the smoked lense they were still bright because the smoke lense wasn't dark black it was just lightly smoked.
But since it wouldn't pass inspection i figured i'd try and take the lense off, black out the chrome internally (to give a smoked look) and re-install the lense
But i don't think that's gonna happen now

I have the aftermarket LED tail light assembly. I didn't change factory bulbs with LEDs.
If you changed factory bulbs with LEDs you'll need some load resistors
