On the CAI, Sarahb69 explained in other post to "Unhook all the wires and tubing from it, grab it firmly on each side and give it a good pull straight up. Takes some strength..."

On the tires, you may ask your dealer if they can reprogram the ECU.:thk:

The dealer will resist changing the ECU for tires. There is a liability issue with tire size vs braking distance.

Be very careful putting taller tires on the car. There is a definite size that you can't go beyond without major modification of the structure. I think that number is just less than 30". There are a bunch of posts here about tire size and lift kits. Do a quick search before you buy something that will be of no use.

Good advice, also keep in mind that your Nitro will not be as quick with taller tires as it effively means your over all drive ratio is numerically lower (taller effective gearing)
I'm not saying you're wrong Ken, but this just doesn't make sense to me. Tire size shouldn't affect gear ratio and any drive number change should be made up by longer travel. I'm not getting the physics, you would have to go pretty large before it made an appreciable difference.
