Hello all. Iv'e been test driving a orange RT for the last 2 weeks. So far I like it. Iv'e been driving a mini van for the last 15 years. It took me a little bit to get used to the Nitro. The more I drive it the better I like it. There pros and cons with both vehicles. Foot room on the Nitro took some getting used to at first. I love the looks. 4.0 v6 has some get up and go. Suprised me. Wheels are just outragous. I will have to get a cargo holder for the back. It is a stiffer ride than the van. I guess thats to be expected. It's not as bad as I thought it would be. No poblems with the tranny yet. I guess that was my biggest fear. But with new warranty it does make me feel better about buying it. I will let you know more after I make up my mind.

Hey crush ...
Welcome to the forum! You've just found the best Nitro forum on the Internet, bar none!
Yeah, there is no comparison between the ride of a minivan and a Nitro. A lot of minivans have the cushy ride, whereas the Nitro is more truck-like. Having said that, my kids call minivans loser-cruisers, whereas they really don't mind being seen with Dad in the Nitro. Both vehicles have their purpose ....the Nitro just has a greater purpose. LOL. Let us know if you join the ranks of the extremely happy . . .

You Are Considerably More Reserved Than I

Hello all. Iv'e been test driving a orange RT for the last 2 weeks. So far I like it.
If you can test drive a Nitro R/T for two weeks without buying one, you are considerably more reserved than I. I could not test drive one for two minutes without demanding one of my own. Actually, I did not drive a Nitro until I tood delivery of my R/T. Seeing the Inferno Red Nitro pass through the center of the Earth and come out in China was all it took for me. I immediately ordered one.

thanks

Hey thanks for the welcome. I'm sure I will buy it. my wife loves it and our youngest daughter who will start driving second semister would hate me if we didn't buy it. I must say you do get that cool feeling when your riding it around. I haven't this much fun in car-truck in awhile. It's a blast to drive!

Hey crush. Wow you must have a friendly dealership to give you a two week test drive. I pretty much decided I was going to get one as soon as I saw one at the dealership. The test drive only cemented the fact I had to have one.
I hope you do decide to buy one, trust me you won't be disappointed.
