Guys and girls,

at the moment i'am busy with the post from Meder for the How to:timing belt replacement. It also includes the waterpump, can someone tell me if we have to de-air the system when filling up? Or will it gobble to the point when starting up the engine?

I've read that there is a trough a other post on this great forum, that there should be a point on the thermostat? But is it necessary?

Thnx for all the reply's in advance!

Bleeding the cooling system 3.7 and 4.0 engines:
using 50/50 mixture of fluid and distilled water, fill radiator to full and coolant recovery/reserve container to max,
run the engine untill hot then let it cool down, when the engine as cooled, fill the recovery/ reserve container to max, Repeat 3 or 4 timesand the cooling system should then be free of any trapped air.
