Kudo's and thanks for Waldorf for pointing out the obvious to me... there IS a sticky in the MyGig system about manually ejecting a disk. I guess I was just too frustrated about first, my new cell phone not working with U-connect,and then the disk got stuck.... That's the real beauty of forums like this... so many nice folk to lend a hand or impart some wisdom!

Now here's a question for everyone: what would you do if you were me? After talking with the U-connect tech support, I learned that there is a known issue with some of the newer phones not working with MyGig/u-connect. I believe it may only concern those systems with nav-radios. My quandry is that I KNOW that my brother's new LG phone DOES work with my u-connect. But I llike my phone a lot better (mine is the 8350, his is the 5400) and would rather not switch. U-connect person told me they are presently "working on a solution" - meaning a new software release to fix this problem. If it were you, would you wait for the software upgrade, or just trade the phone in for one you didn't like quite as well, but at least works NOW with your vehicle? The U-connect guy couldn't tell me when they anticipated the upgrade. Anyone hear any rumors about this?

Awell, at least I got my CD out! I don't think I'll try playing Harry Connick again!

I'm glad it worked for you! Yes, I agree, this forum is great! About the U-Connect issue, you have to realize that the MyGiG has drivers for the phones that were available when it was created. Newer phones may or may not work correctly, that's just how computer technology works. I read another post about Chrysler working on their MyGiG website and it will be available sometime in January 2008. Hopefully they will have driver updates to make more (newer) phones available.

hey Dayton, I would not settle for something I did not like, I would just wait for the fix for the u-connect. That is my opinion and my personal pref. do what makes you happy, you are the one who has to deal w/ that issue and besides, cool phones are well....COOL!! keep the phone. good luck whichever you decide!!
