Hi Everyone
Just had my TIPM Module replaced. I was driving down the road and everything went on lights wipers so on . Then wipers and door locks quit working. Took truck in and then it would not start for them. Well over the last 2 years it would not start for me about 10 times. I waited and then it started. So if anyone is having trouble take truck in. It has a recall on the TIPM Module.

I know what you feel right now cause i'd experience that kind of problem. I was in highway when evrything is moving i mean the wipers both front & rear doing there flashing lights all doors horn windshields washer its freek me out but still running. I called dealer and they said just continue driving it will stop after 5mins. Right now Dealer will change the TIPM but i dont no if this will fix the problem. One more thing my power door lock is working but if you lock the doors using remote is not working..

Wow, my 07 3.7 4x4 has same symptoms but a lil diff. Went out to my baby hit the keypad n unlocked door .fired her up drove bout 2 miles to walgreens.cut off trk got out n hit the pad to lock n nothing but the lights flased as if they locked but they didn't. So get back n and switched trk on and nothing.I mean no power no where. Disconnected the battery for a minute or two. When hooked cable back the horn blu out of control n the rear wiper was on. So called my buddy he picks her up on rollback takes to his shop.after checkn it over he tells me that it has to go back to dealer .he cant tell me whats wrong. He said he has seen this b4 n it was the TIPM but only the dealer can tell me for certain. Anyway it sets n his lot all night.the next morn. It fires rite up (?).so I leave get to the store and again the same thing.no power.he told try this. (Disconnect the pos. cable. Let trk cool down. Bout an half hr. Touch pos cable to batt. post. The horn blu n rer wiper came on.then hook pos cable to battery and the trk fired rite up.) I have been doing this procedure for a couple weeks now and it works everytime so far.only 1 time the trans would not shift.but switched trk off n back on and she went to shifting.only thing is the doors will not lock automatically nor will they lock by pushing button on inside of the trk. My dad has been MOPAR all his life as I am also.id push my dodge b4 id drive a chevy. Looks like ima get a good workout.lol dam you Chrysler. Dodge bros wouldnt have shit like this

Are you by chance the original owner of your Nitro? (I believe this would be covered under the lifetime warranty if so?) If not, I believe there was also a TIPM recall that addressed the issue.

Either way, this seems like a serious safety issue, and I would take it to the dealer immediately to have it checked out. (God forbid it acts up on you while at hwy speeds, the results would not be good!)
