Direct from our manual

I know this is from the manual, but I personally want to add my opinion on tire rotation. I don't recommend cross-rotation because I feel the cords in a tire set in a direction and crossing them changes their rotation direction. To me this opening up the door to tire problems like separation and chord shifting. Just my 2 cents. :)

Confused sensors

I just rotated my tires last weekend and have had the Right Rear sensor report zero pressure three times this week. The first time I stopped immediately and got out to check that the tire was full of air.

I am not sure what to do, or if I need to go to the dealer to fix the intermittent problem.

Any ideas or comments?

P.S. I used the manual recommended rotation pattern.

Correct me if I am wrong (it wouldn't be the first time)

The premium system refers to if you have the evic, where it will show individual pressure for each tire and where, whereas the base system will just chime and light a lamp.
I think the SXT's come without the EVIC and "premium" system, so they only have a warning lamp and chime if any of the tires get low pressure. It has to do with how many sensors are in the Nitro and cost of course.
