YIKES... Not brain-fade, more of my forum newbie-ness, personal ignorance. Now it makes sense. - Sorry all, and Thanks for your patience.
But still... that means none of the questions have actually been answered and they all still stand, doesn't it?
- How does razmataz turn off the Parksense when towing? Or any of the rest of us that have this feature but don't have the switch that minitrucker007 found on page 166 of our manuals? - Anyone know?
- Is it possible the on/off switch is a Canada only feature?
- If SOME Nitros have the switch, can a switch be retro-fitted to those that don't have a switch... if they need one?
- How DOES this feature work for those that have it: Mine emits a single, one-time bleep as I approach something while backing up, and that's it. As said before, I've experienced this feature in the past as a repeating beep that became more rapid the closer I got to an obstacle until I got "close enough" and it switched to a continuous tone. Is a single beep 'normal' in your experience? I suppose if there were a switch or some alternate procedure to silence the Parksense when towing, it might emit a single beep and then go quiet. If so, How does one turn it back on? - Very curious.
- And... is there any info out there about back-up cameras becoming available from Mopar? It appears the RER/UConnect package is offered across most of the Mopar vehicle family and a camera is obviously a great addition to back-up system. (And an up-front system for many as well.) - Has a camera ever been mentioned as a possible/available oem option for the Nitro? Again, just curious. The after-market will always fill the vacuum.
Again, Thanks for straightening me out folks. I will try and do better, but these do seem to be reasonable, useful questions. Can anyone steer us in the right direction?
