Can anyone suggest an inexpensive diagnostic tool that will allow access to Transmission temperature? Is there an option below a Professional "Star Scan" system that will help me maintain tranny without the need to wait 2 weeks for a dealer appointment? I've also seen apps for the iphone using Bluetooth to access realtime data.

Please advise.

Sorry, I have not found one to display transmission temperature. Scanners are updated yearly. Hopefully someone will make one. Unfortunately, Chrysler may have it locked out from scanning.

For a piece of mind, I bought a Dodge Dakota trans dipstick. I check it now and then to be safe.

I have DashCommand on my iphone. I use it with an ELM327. It does not read transmission temperature.

Andriod phone users do have one option.

I Use Torque app and looking st the list it gets from the Nitro. It sais Tran temp not transmitted.? Is the an app that foes read tyranny temp

I'd like to know temp when towing
