How do you know if your truck needs this...

My nitro has a modification sticker that says..pcm 5094144an
since they replaced my torque converter and TIPM.

Now since they performed the recall on the TIPM ...my son said he thought the motor malfunction light did flash on when he drove to the store the day they did the recall. But I haven't noticed it on.

dammit, I'm so confused:thk:

I would give up...but my truck seems to be rapidly deterorating by the day.

Usually the bulletins are more specific, but what's missing from TSB 18-039-07 is that is applies to the 2.8L Diesel engine.

Same day the recall work was done on mine, the ESP/TCP & ESP/BAS lights lit up and stayed on. Had to go back and reset them. My service dept is totally frustrated with the Nitros that they have sold...

I know what you mean... The SM at my dealership seems overwhelmed by it..but I felt like he was taking it out on me. I'm really gettin tired of the "brush off"... they seem to be very "skilled" at that. I told him one day..oh excuse me.."but it's only my life, the lives of my children and grand children at stake here..no biggie"
