Nitroforumz Members: If you read this TSB carefully you will see that is says this bulletin applies to Nitro's built on or before Dec. 15 2006. Also you will see that this bulletin shows the same part number as previous bulletins for the torque converter shudder. It had been rumored that an improved design torque converter had been developed.

I want to question Chrysler Tech on a few points. First, for those Nitro owners where the build date falls after Dec. 15 2006 and experience the torque converter shudder can this bulletin apply. Because bulletins are build and date specific, problems can occur when a customer see this and feels it applies to their vehicle and the dealership will follow it to the letter because of warranty coverage. The other question I have that I will ask Chrysler is I have looked at the available FLASHes and did not see a new software update. I'm wondering if it hasn't been released as of today and will follow. It's obvious the previous TSB which included the same procedures wasn't successful and most of this repair hinges on the reprogramming of the PCM. Hopefully I will have answers to clarify this new TSB soon. :)
