The past couple of months in my new R/T have been surprisingly free of problems (unlike my Lincoln LS). I guess, with fewer bells and whistles, there's less to go wrong. The one thing that bugs me may not be a malfunction as much as it's simply a characteristic of the U-Connect. Mine came factory installed and it works great, except for one thing. It is so frikkin' slow to respond to voice commands. First I wait after pressing the call button...then I wait...and wait for it acknowledge each command to place a call. Then after I think I'm done...another long wait for it to ask me, again, if I want to call so-and-so...."is that right?" By the time we get there, I'm yelling at the darn thing like raising my voice is gonna help! Are you guys experiencing the same thing or is my unit just slow witted?
