Greetings all. I have a 2007 RT with factory-installed radio, nav and u-connect. I upgraded my cell phone to a Verizon LGVX8350 that has bluetooth capability. I then was able to succcessfully go through the pairing process and my phone and vehicle radio connect with each other, all the time. However, I was only able to receive and place a call once, all the rest of the time, the system starts to make a call then disconnects. I got Verizon to replace the phone and have had the vehicle back to the Dodge dealer twice without the problem being fixed. The dealer says it is the phone and vice versa with the phone co. There doesn't seem to be any alternative but to just accept the problem and grit my teeh. Has anyone had the problem and been able to get it fixed? If so, who or how did you get it done? Thanks, Mert.

Follow up - Problem solved.

Well, after months of frustration and a lot of work by the Dodge dealer and Verizon, the MyGig U-Connect problem interfacing with my cell phone has been solved. Turns out that my phone, an LG VX8350, was not compatible with the MyGig. Verizon was very helpfull giving me a number of phones to try including other LG models, Motorolas, Razors. All worked correctly with the MyGig except the VX8350 which, incidently was not on the list of compatible phones issued by Dodge. Verizon was simply super in working with me and exchanged phones with no hassle. The U-Connect is a terrific feature and was well worth the trouble to get working. I highly recommend it to anyone considering it. Incidentally, I did discover in the process that there was a software update that came out after I got the car but no one at the dealership mentioned existed until I made a fuss in trying to fix the MyGig problem.
