Nitrotech,
Is this a automatic transmission or manual.
I assume its automatic since I dont see a place to fill up on my Nitro.
The reason I am asking is because I would like to change my transmission fluid to either Royal Purlpe or Redline.
Can you show me or help me figure out how I can do this.

Thanks and by the way very informative post hope to see more in future.

Hi,

Thanks for the info, i was thinking where the EGR valve and the vapor solenoids are on the Nitro. I have read about them when i was trying to restore an '82 camaro from it's long lasting wreck!

I was also thinking that if both these hoses been removed from the throttle, the engine will gain more HP but fail on emissions.
vapors and recirculated gases reduce the percentage of oxygen in the intake manifold, that results on a poor combustion, since the air to fuel mixture is not correct
Am i right?

If it was to benefit HP then race cars should have those valves, but they do not!
I remember my 1975 chevy monza V8 had been de-emmisioned and run much better.

Yeah pretty much impossible to get a pic of the oil filter. :shakehead:
I know ... my DH couldn't believe that he actually had to take one of our vehicles in to someone else to get the oil changed. He said the human arm just can't bend like that when you are underneath the Nitro.

Nice job on the info, NitroTech!! I know more about Norm after five minutes looking at your diagrams than I did after driving him for a couple of years.

Low side A/C port?

So where's the low side A/C port to recharge the air? I see one (a cap) near the front left side but the port was too big for the gauge adapter for the refrigerant. Is this something a dealer technician has to do? I have no leaks, it just needs to be cooler. 2008 Nitro 3.7 l

Most likely it is condensation. However, more is not better. After the rig warms up you should not have much, if any steam coming out of the exhaust.
If it smells of antifreeze, you have a problem!

Nope. It appears to have been removed from the original posters imageshack account.
