Thanks for the info, i was thinking where the EGR valve and the vapor solenoids are on the Nitro. I have read about them when i was trying to restore an '82 camaro from it's long lasting wreck!
I was also thinking that if both these hoses been removed from the throttle, the engine will gain more HP but fail on emissions.
vapors and recirculated gases reduce the percentage of oxygen in the intake manifold, that results on a poor combustion, since the air to fuel mixture is not correct
Am i right?
If it was to benefit HP then race cars should have those valves, but they do not!
I remember my 1975 chevy monza V8 had been de-emmisioned and run much better.
