Well I've never used them but there's a fellow that was touting how great it was to use but every so often he'd bring his vehicle into my shop to be detailed. I guess it works OK if the car really isn't all that dirty but when it gets real muddy or here in Ohio where you get salt, you need to wash it the old fashioned way.

I've used this before with good results for those times when the birds or other road grime hits the vehicle. Other than that, it's as NitroTech stated using soap and water.

The Prolong is much cheaper and can be found at auto stores for about $4-5 US.

As stated before, that stuff is good for touch ups. Road salt and caked on dirt need soap & water...
