What actually "Confirmation of Voice Commands — If Equipped When ON is selected, all voice commands from the UConnect™ system are confirmed. To make your selection, press and release the RESET button until “ON” or “OFF” appears." is doing? i mean wha tis the function of this option on or off?

What actually "Confirmation of Voice Commands — If Equipped When ON is selected, all voice commands from the UConnect™ system are confirmed. To make your selection, press and release the RESET button until “ON” or “OFF” appears." is doing? i mean wha tis the function of this option on or off?

I believe that when "On" and you press Uconnect, it goes like this:

MyGIG: "Uconnect... *beep*"
You: "Call home"
MyGIG: "Calling 'Home', is this correct?"
You: "Yes"
MyGIG: "Calling..."

And when it is "Off:

MyGIG: "Uconnect... *beep*"
You: "Call home"
MyGIG: "Calling Home."
MyGIG: "Calling"

To summarize, when this setting is "Off" you don't have to confirm that MyGIG "heard" you correctly. Personally, I have this feature set to "Off" because in the event that it tries to dial the wrong number I could just press the Uconnect button to cancel it.
