It looks like I may soon be moving on from my Nitro and was surfing craigslist to get a feel for how much they are selling for. I found this one just like mine, same model SLT and engine, same color and even has the same running boards! I was just wondering what the heck is attached to the engine, it must be a after market item of some kind. Anyone have an idea?
Thanks.

The silver pipe with the red filter attached would be what some people call a Cold Air Intake

The way that one is setup, with the filter be exposed within the engine bay....i would say it’s not helping with performance

It will help, as it has a quasi "box" around it. Plus it has a more direct ariflow with less restrictions then the stock tubes.
