Go with the 20's and you won't have to worry. The 22's are just not that practical for everyday driving. You're just one pot hole or railroad track away from sadness! And they will feel HARD!
The 20" looks great and will hold up under the weight of this vehicle fine (remember this isn't some light weight car). Also the 20" is an OEM Nitro R/T size so its been tested on this vehicle.
If you were just showing the Nitro or maybe if it were only a weekend driver I might give other advice. I think a 22" looks great but the 20" is so close in the looks department and so much more durable... Go 20's! :Racing:

If you want 20s, or any size for that matter, get the dealer to work a deal with you at the local tire dealer for some cool aftermarket rims. There are a couple of guys on this forum who have done it successfully & now they have a unique Nitro.

I own a black Nitro and also want to add some chrome rims to it, you guys helped alot and ive made my decision on buyin 20s.

Now I have another problem to add though, the size of the tires on them will be very important too, not looking for thin ones if you know what im talking about, can anyone help out there and give me some sizes?? thanx :)

245/50-20 is stock R/T.
I have 255/45/20's on mine.

There is another member (dfalcon217) that put 275/45-20's on his but I think he had a slight inside rub.

I think you can get away with fitting some 265/45-20's but you would definately want to test fit before making your decision.
