i burn ricers with my stock 3.7 with a manual tranny, but thats not hard at all

One of the guys at work tried to outsprint me to the expressway ramp the other week. I was in the inside lane at the lights getting ready to turn onto the ramp about 100 yards ahead. He came up beside me in his Mercury Cougar. I knew what he was going to do as he drives like a bloody idiot all the time. Anyway, the lights went green and he could only stay level. He ended up going south a block and doing a u-turn to get back on. And that was before I put the chip in...

On the weekends I like to drive down the 4 lane road that the local mall is on and there are always a ton of kids driving around. Usually I will find a punk kid in a foreign 4 banger with crappy fart can exhaust. I always smoke them. The closest race I had was with my friend. He has an 01 Nissan Altima 2.5. Off the line it is pretty close, but after 40 mph, the V6 beats out the 2.5.
On a side note, whats REALLY fun, and prob not the safest thing, is snow racing. Its fun to find a big open parking lot and just drag race. Although the 4x4 of the Nitro beats out nearly anything I've gone against. Rav'4s, Altima, even 4x4 ford explorer.

My friend also has the 5.7l hemi ram and my r/t killed it in our 0-60 race

haha thanks. I always use good judgement though. Never do it when friends are in the car or when too many other cars are around. But yea I agree with the other member's comments on this thread. For only 210 horsepower in a pretty heavy SUV, the thing can get up and go pretty good. I've raced my friend's 2007 Rav4 a few times and I completely smoked him. It's front wheel drive with a 170 hp 4banger i beleive. Has anyone out there gone against a liberty? New or old...either one?

Today on my way home, on a 2-lane road, I was pulling up to a red light, and couldn't move over into the left lane due to a new Rav4 in my way. I had about 300 yards on the other side of the stoplight before my lane ended to move, so I figured I'd have time to get over.
The light turned green, and I figured no need to step on it as it was a Rav4. But I took off, and he took off, didn't want to let me over. I speeded up and so did he...
I got it up to about 85k in a 60 zone, and he just stepped on the gas, and flew by me. :SHOCKED:
How could I let him do it, you are all asking? Well, he beat me fair and square...right past the cop I saw and he didn't. :chuckle:
I gave him a little wave on my way by him being pulled over!

well i missed all the replies on myself saying I was back, the thread got moved and i couldnt find it anymore, but anyways, long story short, i beat a new dodge minivan today!!!!, yeah i was just toying around with my buddy who had to turn is Ridgeline in for a minivan.....sucker!!!! lol anyways glad to see the forum evolved!!!!
