The tint shop that did mine used a meter on the backs and stated it was 28%.

I suppose I don't have to tell you that tinting the front windows in PA is illegal at any level right?

I have 20% front and added 20% on top of the factory tint in the rear on mine.

Yes I know it is illegal, but man the NITRO will look so much better with something on there. It looks silly without it. IMO it is worth the risk, especially if it keeps the black beast cool and protected from sun damage.

The net light transference from the light side to the dark side is 28%.

To make is more clear to those that have never used one of these meters would be to say that 28% of the light that hits the outside of the glass gets through.

That’s good info it have. I have 15% tint on my front and stock on the back the front is way to dark just like I told the tint guy who was putting it on saying that it will mach. He didn’t have any idea what he was talking about. I thank it is 25% net to 23% film and thats on LLumer film. And plane glass has about 3% light resistance it’s self. To get it right there are a lot of variables stock glass resistance, the film, how the machine that made the film was calibrated for that role… to get it close 35% LLumer tint should mathematically be close but you also have to take in consideration that right beside the front doors there is the windshield that is letting in a ton of light and that is going to make the front door glass look lighter than it really is. For visual preference 20% tint on 3% glass with the windshield right there it should look very visually close if not about 2% off.
