Windshield gap

I dont have any leak or noise problem in my Nitro, but I have noticed a bigger than usual gap between the upper edge of the windshield and the metal.

There are some spots of something that looks like dry glue.

I have been trying to see the pics in the gallery but it is hard to notice that gap.

My question is: Have I loose a rubber seal in my windshield or it is the way it is design?
