After allot of research and ALLOT of hassle I finally picked up my Black Nitro R/T last night... I am LOVIN it! I cant stop looking at it, and neither can those that I pass by in it. It has all the options I was looking for and other than tinting the front two windows, and maybe a air deflector for the sunroof to quiet it down, no further moding is needed for my taste (love the mygig).

Goin for a small road trip this weekend to put it through its paces.

I Hope a few more R/T's make it out to Ontario for those of you who are patiently waiting, just as long as they are not in my area :Na_Na_Na_Na: (jk).

FYI there are 6 other R/T's for sale in ontario based on the info on the dodge website, 1 at Bustard Chrysler in K/W, 3 at Eastway Chrystler in T.O. and 2 in the Ottawa area.

Got my R/T this weekend

I found a Nitro R/T on a lot at an Edmonton dealer on Friday and I bought it on Saturday, July 7. The salesman said it had been special ordered but took so long to get here that the customer no longer wanted it. The build date is May '07 and I have yet to see another R/T on the road.

Here's a description:
- Inferno Red
- 4.0L V6 w/5 speed
- Leather seats
- U-connect
- 6 CD player with 8 speakers etc.
- Sunroof
- Chrome package (front fascia/fuel door/wind deflector/door inserts)
- Remote start
- Satellite radio
- 20" wheels
and more....

This truck has a lot of power and feels great to drive on the road.

And I got the employee pricing and 20 cent/litre off fuel discount card.

I'm now trying to get those things done after the fact. I have the chrome gas door installed so far. I also want to get chrome running boards, the tubular ones, not the crappy Mopar ones!!

The two in Ottawa area are gone. The red one at Kollbec was given away in a contest (I wanted it!), and I bought the silver one at Dilawri.

The chrome package was not listed on the window sticker nor the the bill of sale. I think Chrysler was offering it as a promotion last month and the dealer just carried it over. It really dresses up the truck.
