Was driving and all of the sudden steering got stiff and then engine got warm and I then pulled over. Found out the serpentine belt broke clean off never even heard a sound or it slapping or anything. I thought I would have heard it make some kind of noise since I did not even have the radio on but not even a sound.
Question since its a 2008 model but I believe on the door it says it was built 2007 and its a 3.7 is it possible this may fall under the TSP that I just found researching the forums tonight after this happened? if not how hard is it to replace the belt? any special tools or torque wrench specs? From what I can tell so far it look like it may be easy. Also with the belt breaking like that do you think it messed up the tensioner pulley?
