Here are my Mods as they happened chronologically.
First was the air dam removal. I did this the first week I had the Nitro.

Roof rack. I saw one on line that I really liked, but was too cheap to by it... So I made one similar to it.

Rack lights. I had these in mind when building the rack. Got to see where I'm going.

CAI. This was before the Volant design and the new intake tube Dodge used in the 08+ models.

Muffler install. Love that sound and the rig likes to breath out easier.

Ram air. This was the front 1/2 to complete my CAI design. Ha, I beat Volant to the punch!

Forward tilt hood. One of a kind. I have never seen another Nitro with a F/T Hood. This is one of my favorite Mods!

Jeepin-by-Al 2.5" suspension lift. I can say that my rig was the first Nitro in the world with this lift. :)

Cup holder lights. Got to see down there...

Console bin light. Now I can find stuff in there, even in the dark.
02/06/10
Image

Halo headlights with LED turns. Makes the TrĹŤ look mean.
03/06/10
Image

ESP on/off switch. This makes going off road so much more fun.
03/19/10

Air dam cut down and re-install. Much better than just removing it. It just looks better this way I think.

Lower bumper grill insert. Quite challenging to make but well worth it.
No more worries about that P/S cooler getting smacked.

Mudders! Functional and for play-time.

That's all so far...
I'm sure there will be more to come. ;) :D

Sweeeeeet Mark! To all of them! All deserve :rep: but will have to spred some around first....
Well done.. I like this idea of grouping them all together. Like a mod shopping book! You look through find what you like and then go to it!

#6 ·
that is an impressive list... and definitely not common or already seen mods as well

I think its great that you took the time to sit down and work out all of the designs, the bugs, and the fab for all of these mods!!! I'm excited to start working on my ride! Thanks for the info and great pics!!!

Scar0 I saw this and was wondering ....... didn't your Nitro come with this switch? Mine did, it's right down by the 4 Way flashers switch. Just curious. I love the whole in order list of mods by the way. Very cool idea.

Thank you all for the kind words.
I was trying to remember which Mods came first and how many Mods I had done. So I decided to put together a Pictorial record of them.
I forgot the license plate holder, but that was a minor one, like the fish-eye mirrors. ;)
do you have "How-to's" for each of those mods? I saw the step by step on the cup holder lights yesterday, nice CLEAN work. Thanks for giving us all ideas
Not all my mods have How-To's for them. Some are just too complex to do a write up on. The rack has way too many angles and I have no way to measure them. I would bend, test fit, bend , test fit, etc. The "Feet" were bolted to the mounting "Plates" and then were welded onto the main part of the frame while it was on top of the TrĹŤ.
The F/T hood had to be built "on" the Nitro. For this I used a wood mock-up and went from there. Kind of the same process as the rack. I actually had to remove the front grill and weld the hinge brackets to the hood mounting plates threw the headlight holes. In order to ensure the alignment was correct.
Most of my Mods do have threads about them with as much detail as I could come up with.

All Nitro's have an ESP "off" switch. But it does not completely disable the ESP, BAS, and traction control systems. It only lowers the threshold point. My Mod disables them completely. Makes off road much more fun.

I also forgot the window vent visors.

And here is a Pic of one of my favorites. For all those questions, "What is that a mini Hummer?"

And I am not done yet. I still have plans for at least a couple more. :))

I bought them from another forumz member. But they were originally purchased from E-bay, revotec was the seller. Model G2 with LED turns.

#17 ·
Your welcome. They light up the road much better than the stock lights.
Great looks as well as functionality. Can't beat that deal.

Good to see you add the new JBA lift to your thread.
:rep: When I can.

#23 ·
Thanks for the Rep attempt Billy. It is the thought that counts.
I had almost forgot to add it to this thread. Old age I guess. :eek:ld:

#24 ·
It's not that we are forgetting, it's just that we have far more information on our hard drives.

#25 ·
I already had to make a backup of all the old info.
Now it takes forever to retrieve it from the archives, and even then some of it is corrupted. :thk: :))
